Norton Rose Fulbright creates Latin America leadership team

Norton Rose Fulbright has created a leadership team for the global law firm’s Latin America practice, appointing partner Willie Wood (Houston) as its chair. Along with Wood, the Latin America leadership team is comprised of Efren Acosta and Ned Crady (Houston), Andrew Haynes (Rio de Janeiro), Leopoldo Olavarria (Bogotá), Ramon Andrade(Caracas) and Tom Vita (London).

Norton Rose Fulbright offers a full-service legal practice across Latin America, with more than 180 lawyers working on cross-border and in-country matters. Nearly 100 of these lawyers reside in Norton Rose Fulbright’s Rio de Janeiro, Bogotá and Caracas offices. In addition, more than 80 lawyers focus on Latin America matters from offices in Houston, New York, Washington, DC, Calgary, Toronto, London, Munich, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Beijing, Singapore, and Sydney.

Wood, who led his firm’s Latin America practice for nearly 15 years prior to its 2013 combination to become Norton Rose Fulbright, said:

The US head of energy & infrastructure, Wood also serves on the firm’s global supervisory board. Acosta leads the Houston office’s corporate, M&A and securities practice. Haynes is the co-head of the Brazil practice. In Latin America, Olavarria leads the energy practice and Andrade oversees the technology and innovation practice.
